FURNITURE INSTALLER (Full-Time)


You are responsible for performing the safe and timely installation and/or reconfiguration of systems furniture, case goods for assigned projects without damage and in accordance with project specifications. This position must exhibit a polite, helpful, positive attitude and professional image with public, customers and team members.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensures use of correct procedures for loading, unloading and moving all kinds of furniture safely and without damage, using proper equipment and technique.
  • Complete furniture assembly/installation as per installation specifications
  • Install all types of free-standing furniture, panel and modular systems, including placement, leveling, wipe-down and touch-up of metal and wood furniture at customer location and dispose of all trash wrapping debris
  • Uses tools correctly and maintains toolbox.
  • Appearance: Wear uniform daily. Uniform must be clean and presentable every day.
  • Ability to work by themselves and with a team of people


Training/Skill Requirements


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to two years of related experience or training
  • Furniture installation experience preferred
  • Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to perform physical tasks that may include: reaching with arms, regularly standing & walking, occasional sitting, regularly lifting up to 10 lbs., frequently lifting and/or moving up to 75 lbs., & occasionally handling items in excess of 75 lbs.


WAREHOUSE RECEIVER (Part-Time)

You are responsible for receiving and pulling customer product ensuring timeliness, accuracy, safety and overall internal/external customer satisfaction.


About the Position:


  • Load and unload product while following safety guidelines and without damage to product.
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Attention to detail — able to accurately examine product for damages.
  • Utilize equipment including fork lifts, hand trucks and dollies to safely move product within warehouse and on / off trucks and trailers.
  • Perform general forklift maintenance checks.
  • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
  • Follows direction well, able to execute on assigned tasks.
  • Cross-train to learn furniture installation
  • Other miscellaneous facilities duties as needed


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Strong work ethic
  • Desire to learn
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Reach truck / fork lift training and certification.
  • Ability to lift 70+ lbs.
  • Good driving record

All applicants will supply their own set of tools. Must demonstrate ability to operate basic power tools. Must possess good communication and customer service skills and be able to take direction well. Hours vary by job and location. The majority of our projects are during business hours, but could extend into some evenings and weekends. Periodically, we will have out-of-town travel opportunities which require overnight stays.
